What started as learning about firearms for sport turned into training with them for warfare and ultimately turned into a passion for proficiency. Whether it’s going to the range for black powder therapy, building them, or just talking about firearms, he enjoys all of it. A: The M249 SAW. When it isn’t jamming, freedom rings at 700 rounds per minute!

Q: What’s one tip you would give for someone just getting into firearms?
A: Don’t think you need the most expensive fully decked out gun on the market. While I’d love to build one for you, most shooters could buy a middle of the pack firearm and it will stand up to anything they want to do. If you have a big enough budget going into it, spend a bit on what you want, and then spend a bit on a beginner’s class or 1-on-1 instruction. The more proficient you become, the more safe fun you can have!.
